The Iowa Traction is a fairly easy railroad to photograph.  The locomotives are usually not kept at the engine house, but if they are they are usually parked inside.  The locomotives are usually parked some where on there 11 miles of track.  The best thing to do to find them is to start at the beginning of their line in Emery and follow the track into Mason City.  The track follows the road so it is easy to spot them.
